Unplug. Go analog.
Join us outside for Expedition Art's first annual Camp + Draw outside Sante Fe, New Mexico.
Willingness for adventure a must.
Minimal kumbaya required.
Camp + Draw workshops are 3-day outdoor professional artist led events. They are usually held in National Parks around the United States, but each has a unique experience. The workshops focus on painting, sketching and exploring the geographically diverse regions in a cost effective way.
The event is a way for students and professionals to meet other artists, unplug from daily digital work and reconnect with nature.
Students are encouraged to camp alongside instructors in a designated area for expedition art members. The camp includes a welcome BBQ, 2 instructor led sessions with nightly 1-1 critiques, an outdoor event and inspirational lecture.
Join us Saturday March 19th in East Austin for a party benefiting our RhinoAware project.
Swing by, have a beer, pick up a new Expedition Art Rhino t-shirt and socialize into the night.
We'll be raffling off a beautiful painting by one of our Expedition Art Artists and a few other fun items from our corporate sponsors.
All donations go to supporting the EA Rhino project and the AWARE trust foundation.
Expedition Art would love to see you at the 2015 Austin East Side Studio Tour! We'll be hosting wildlife artist Manny Carrasco and his latest paintings inspired by his recent trip to Zimbabwe.
All proceeds from the show will benefit the Expedition Arts' initiatives and the Rhino Project. Expedition Art is #40 on the tour.
We'll be open from 11am - 6pm, Saturday and Sunday, the weekends of November 14 and November 21.
The East Side Studio tour is a FREE, annual, self-guided art event spanning across two weekends in November. Through collaboration with the community, EAST provides opportunities for the public to meet the makers: the local artists and artisans who drive Austin’s vibrant creative culture. In its 14th edition, EAST features 287 Artist Studios, 152 Exhibitions, 17 Happenings and a series of Select Events.
